Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Potomac School). They blew past the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers 77-33 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Potomac School was led to victory by Catherine Letendre and Sabrina Anderson. Letendre dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Anderson went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and five boards. That's the most points Letendre has posted since back in January of 2024. Ava Sewall was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and four steals.

Potomac School was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Potomac School is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Georgetown Day, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Potomac School will be playing in front of their home fans against Maret at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Maret is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.2 points per game this season. Georgetown Day has already played their next contest, a 77-28 loss against Bullis on the 14th.
