Volleyball Recap: Conway Triumphs

Conway picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Verona Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Brooke Potteiger paced Conway's offense, picking up five kills. Potteiger got some help from Adalee Letterman and her eight assists. Letterman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Conway's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Verona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Southwest Missouri HomeSchool on the 27th. As for Verona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Blue Eye on the 27th.
