Pisgah had won seven straight games and Chandler Lowery did her part to make it eight on Saturday. The Pisgah Bears snuck past the Mountain Heritage Cougars with a 55-51 victory thanks in part to Lowery, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Conner, who posted seven points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lilly Neill, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave Neill a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grace Brooks, who went 5 for 8 en route to 13 points.

Pisgah's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Mountain Heritage, they moved to 12-3 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Pisgah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-37 victory against Smoky Mountain on the 21st. Mountain Heritage has also already played their next contest, a 67-60 win against Avery County on the 22nd.
