Vance County barely beat Granville Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vipers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Panthers on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Vipers, who have now won five matches in a row.

Vance County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Granville Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Vance County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granville Central, they are taking a road trip to face off against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
