Richmond Hill had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 victory over the Glynn Academy Terrors. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 44-36 win the Terrors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

When it comes to explaining why Glynn Academy lost, don't look at Alyssa Martin. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Journee Austin, who scored eight points and five boards.

Glynn Academy is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond Hill will head out to challenge Statesboro at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Glynn Academy, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Woodville-Tompkins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
