Logan hadn't done well against Lancaster recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Chieftains sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Golden Gales. This was payback for the Chieftains, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Logan's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Lancaster, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Logan is set to take on their familiar foe Canal Winchester at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lancaster will challenge rival Reynoldsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
