Baseball Game Preview: Evadale Rebels vs. Big Sandy Wildcats

For the second straight game, Evadale will face off against Big Sandy. The Rebels will welcome the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Evadale proved they can win big on Friday (they won by nine) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Big Sandy 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Jaden Gravis, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dakota Pinner, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

The win got Evadale back to even at 10-10. As for Big Sandy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7-1.
