Basketball Recap: Selma Comes Up Short

Selma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 57-46 to the Kingsburg Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 895th, while the Vikings are ranked 399th).

Selma's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Kingsburg, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-11.

Selma is taking a road trip to face off against Central Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingsburg, they will be playing at home against Washington Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
