Baseball Recap: St. James Tigers vs. Pacific Indians
St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Pacific Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 6-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
Jesse Hudson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season.
St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pacific, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. James will take on Salem at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pacific, they will face off against St. Clair at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
