Baseball Recap: Science Leadership Academy at Beeber Comes Up Short

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Martin Luther King Cougars, falling 7-0. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Martin Luther King, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0-1.

Coincidentally, Science Leadership Academy at Beeber and Martin Luther King will both be playing Boys' Latin Charter the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host Boys' Latin Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rockets will head out to face them at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
