Basketball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

Danbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 82-52 defeat at the hands of the Woodmore Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-32 back in January.

Danbury's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Woodmore, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

When Danbury and Woodmore next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Danbury will try to stop Calvert's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Woodmore will challenge Gibsonburg and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
