After a string of 12 wins, Clear Fork's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 69-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shelby Whippets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-36 back in December of 2024.

Clear Fork's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-3. As for Shelby, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Fork will face off against Highland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Shelby, they will take on Bellevue at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellevue is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Shelby a eight-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
