Volleyball Recap: Shadow Mountain's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Shadow Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Goldwater Bulldogs on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Matadors as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shadow Mountain was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shadow Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than MEGAN FORBES, who had 21 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, FORBES is now averaging an impressive 10.5 digs per game. LILLIAN VARGAS was another key player, getting 13 digs and eight kills.

Shadow Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Goldwater, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.
