Volleyball Recap: Chrisman Bears vs. Belton Pirates

If Chrisman was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Truman on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears came up short against the Belton Pirates on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bears have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-17, 25-14.

Belton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maddie Asaeli, who had 15 assists and three digs. Asaeli is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Kaidyn Rock also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Chrisman's defeat dropped their record down to 14-18-1. As for Belton, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 25-9.
