Providence Day and Christ School are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Chargers will square off against the Greenies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Providence Day saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gaston Christian.

Meanwhile, Christ School strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Davidson Day by a score of 69-62. 69 seems to be a good number for the Greenies as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Providence Day's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Christ School, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Providence Day couldn't quite get it done against Christ School in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 as they fell 56-45. Can the Chargers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
