Softball Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Wayzata Trojans
Buffalo extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 2-9 in the process. They lost 11-3 to the Wayzata Trojans. Surprisingly, this marked the Bison's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Mia Haugen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. MaKenna Morell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
As for Wayzata, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games.
On Wayzata's side, the team relied heavily on Sydney Anderson, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. Cyrena Carr also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
