Football Recap: Ogemaw Heights' Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday + How To Watch

It was a Battle of the Birds when Ogemaw Heights challenged Shepherd on Friday. The Falcons beat the Bluejays by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 49-14. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Bluejays are ranked 255th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Ogemaw Heights and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points over those games. As for Shepherd, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.
