Basketball Recap: Douglass Bulldogs vs. Herington Railroaders
Douglass played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 50-23 loss at the hands of the Herington Railroaders. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.
Leslyn Kremeier was a one-woman wrecking crew for Herington as she posted 24 points and three steals. That's the most points Kremeier has posted since back in January of 2024. Harley Larosa was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine boards.
Douglass' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Herington, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Douglass will challenge Centre at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Douglass is facing Centre at the right time seeing as Centre is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Herington, they will square off against Wakefield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
