Volleyball Recap: Hannan Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Hannan fell 2-0 to Nitro.

Hannan was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring five points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-5.

Nitro found their leader in sophomore Miley Mullins, who had six aces and four digs. Another player making a difference was Skylar Swindler, who had four aces.

Hannan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Nitro, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 12-12.

Looking ahead, Hannan will be playing at home against Wood County Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Wildcat at the right time seeing as the Wildcat are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Nitro, they will square off against Poca at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
