Basketball Recap: Fossil Ridge Takes a Loss

Fossil Ridge lost against Brewer back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fossil Ridge Panthers took a hard 53-37 fall against the Brewer Bears. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Brewer's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nash Pena, who went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Calvin Rweyemamu, who went 5 of 10 en route to 13 points.

Fossil Ridge's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Brewer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Fossil Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-54 defeat against Joshua on the 27th. Brewer has also already played their next matchup, a 50-41 loss against North Forney on the 27th.
