Softball Recap: Science Park Comes Up Short

Science Park lost against St. Vincent Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chargers took a 16-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Vincent Academy. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Science Park's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for St. Vincent Academy, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, Science Park will welcome Barringer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Vincent Academy, they will head out to face off against West Caldwell Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something St. Vincent Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of.
