Softball Recap: Leflore County Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Leflore County's offense. They came up short against the Riverside Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 19-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Leflore County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 draw later that day.
