Volleyball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Heritage was the 2-0 winner over Northwest Whitfield when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins on Thursday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Addy Kissner paced Heritage's offense, picking up 17 kills. Kissner got some help from Madison Sertel and her 41 assists.

Paola Cuna went supernova For Northwest Whitfield., getting 21 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Cuna a new career-high in assists (eight). Another player making a difference was Paislee Miner, who had ten digs.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 21-21. As for Northwest Whitfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 27-14 record this season.

Heritage will take on Fayette County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwest Whitfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
