Burke County waltzed into their match on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the Westside Patriots by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Burke County was: they took both sets by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-7.

Krystalyn Buxton paced Burke County's offense, picking up eight kills. Buxton got some help from Cheyenne Queen and her 11 assists. Ra'Shanna Heath controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Burke County's victory bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Westside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.

Coincidentally, Burke County and Westside will both be playing Hephzibah the next time they take the court. The Patriots will host the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
