Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee Comes Up Short

Chattahoochee lost against Creekview back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Grizzlies.

Chattahoochee was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18.

Elise Martinez paced Chattahoochee's offense, picking up seven kills. Martinez were helped by Isabella Podesta and Ana Levis, who contributed four assists each. Ana Behrmann controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Chattahoochee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Creekview, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4.

Chattahoochee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Centennial on the 12th. As for Creekview, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Denmark at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
