Basketball Recap: Benavides Comes Up Short

Benavides was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-8 loss at the hands of the San Isidro Tigers. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-6.

Benavides' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for San Isidro, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-6.

Benavides has already played their next matchup (against San Perlita), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Isidro will be playing in front of their home fans against Pawnee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pawnee has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-3 during that stretch of close contests.
