Basketball Game Preview: Kickapoo Panthers vs. Seneca Indians

Kickapoo has gone a perfect 10-0 against Seneca recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will host the Indians at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Kickapoo earned a 48-39 win over Black Hawk. The Panthers have beaten the Warriors the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.

Kickapoo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Breylyn Culver, who shot 45% from the field on her way to 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabelle Oliver, who went 5-for-7 en route to 11 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Seneca sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-41 victory over Richland Center on Thursday.

Kickapoo's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Seneca, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.

Kickapoo strolled past Seneca when the teams last played back in December of 2025 by a score of 43-27. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
