While Immanuel Christian's win against Trona wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crusaders skirted past the Tornadoes 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Immanuel Christian took Trona into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-11, 22-25, 16-14.

Ava Blakie paced Immanuel Christian's offense, picking up 18 kills. Blakie got some help from Neisha Schollars and her 30 assists. Finally, Blakie was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Immanuel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Trona, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4-1.
