Softball Recap: North Pitt Comes Up Short

North Pitt fell victim to Washington and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 17-0 to the Pam Pack. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

North Pitt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Pitt is set to square off against their familiar foe West Craven at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Washington will take on rival SouthWest Edgecombe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pam Pack 2.4, the Cougars 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
