Softball Recap: Stone Memorial Takes a Loss

Stone Memorial came into this matchup off a tough nine-run loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Lawrence County Wildcats by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stone Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cadence Cox, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Stone Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Lawrence County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Stone Memorial nor Lawrence County have any future games scheduled.
