Volleyball Recap: Sharon-Mutual Comes Up Short

After flying high against Erick on Tuesday, Sharon-Mutual came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Hennessey Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Tuesday.

Sharon-Mutual has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Hennessey, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Sharon-Mutual and Hennessey will both be playing Corn Bible Academy the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Crusaders on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
