Basketball Recap: Mary G. Montgomery Vikings vs. Bryant Hurricanes
The Mary G. Montgomery Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 61-50 to Bryant. If Mary G. Montgomery was looking for revenge after losing 60-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Bryant found their leader in underclassman Madi-Marie Grayson, who scored 29 points along with three steals. Grayson is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games she's played. Mari-Margret Grayson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight assists and eight steals.
Mary G. Montgomery dropped their record down to 8-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Bryant, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.
Mary G. Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bryant will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Toros at 5:30 p.m.
