Torrey Pines has gone a perfect 8-0 against Mission Vista recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Falcons will venture away from home to square off against Mission Vista at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Torrey Pines has five straight victories, Mission Vista has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Tuesday, Torrey Pines sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Rancho Buena Vista.

Sage Creek hit Mission Vista with a four-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Mission Vista came up short against Sage Creek, falling 10-1.

Mission Vista saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Raphael, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Mission Vista's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Torrey Pines, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Torrey Pines came out on top in a nail-biter against Mission Vista in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mission Vista turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
