Volleyball Recap: Eastmark Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Eastmark came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Firebirds in their meetings with the Thunderbolts: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-16.

Leading Mica Mountain to victory were VANEZIA LOPEZ and ANNYCIA ARENAS. LOPEZ had eight digs and four aces, while ARENAS had five digs.

Eastmark now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mica Mountain, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Eastmark will face off against Arizona College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mica Mountain, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Mountain View on the 4th.
