Volleyball Recap: Mary Star of the Sea Takes a Loss

Mary Star of the Sea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Serna Lancers. If the Stars were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Lancers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mary Star of the Sea's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for La Serna, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Mary Star of the Sea and La Serna will both be playing Glendora the next time they take the court. The Stars will head out to face the Tartans at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 8:15 p.m.
