Basketball Recap: Dacula Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Dacula, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Central Gwinnett Black Knights by a score of 62-54 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Central Gwinnett's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Denovian Flowers, who went 8 for 18 on his way to 19 points and three steals, and Josiah Hall, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was O'Davion Thompson, who posted four points and three steals.

Dacula is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Central Gwinnett, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

Dacula didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-65 loss against Buford on the 13th.
