It was a proper cat-fight when Masuk challenged Bethel on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Wildcats. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Mary Saunders made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Saunders was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grace Ely, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
