Baseball Recap: Immanuel Takes a Loss

Immanuel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Immanuel saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Pettitt, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Immanuel's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Central Valley Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-11.

While Immanuel had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
