Basketball Recap: Hammond Comes Up Short

Hammond lost against Mt. Hebron back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hammond Golden Bears fell 50-37 to the Mt. Hebron Vikings. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hammond's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Mt. Hebron, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Hammond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Hebron, they will take on Long Reach at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Mt. Hebron is facing Long Reach at the right time seeing as Long Reach is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
