Sparta Academy won against Escambia Academy on Tuesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Sparta Academy Warriors walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Escambia Academy Cougars. The game marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Murfee Williams, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-5. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Warren Cain, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

The victory made it two in a row for Sparta Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-15. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 11.5 hits in those games compared to only five in the others. As for Escambia Academy, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Looking ahead, Sparta Academy will be playing at home against Fort Dale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Dale Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Sparta Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Escambia Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jackson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on March 31st.
