Softball Recap: Parkview Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Parkview Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 32-4 to the Aurora Christian Eagles.

Parkview Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caitlin Zenofio, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another was Eva Krkljus, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Parkview Christian Academy's record is now 0-4. As for Aurora Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Parkview Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harvest Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Aurora Christian, they will head out to square off against Chicago Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.5 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
