Softball Recap: Sprague Takes a Loss

Sprague lost against Wilsonville back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Olympians lost 10-2 to the Wildcats. The defeat leaves the Olympians still looking for their first win of the season.

Kaylee Lundeen and Brenna Morris did some serious damage despite the final result: Lundeen went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Morris scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Sprague's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wilsonville, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sprague will challenge Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Olympians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilsonville, they will take on Redmond at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
