Basketball Recap: Mediapolis Comes Up Short

Mediapolis was the 67-47 winner over Central Lee when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Mediapolis Bulldogs took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Lee Hawks. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Mediapolis and nudges their season record down to 10-8. As for Central Lee, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Mediapolis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-64 victory against Holy Trinity Catholic on the 31st. As for Central Lee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-72 win against Van Buren County on the 31st.
