Soccer Recap: Central Crossing Starts off Right with Win over Whetstone

Central Crossing had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Whetstone Braves a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. Madi Estep was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Looking ahead, Central Crossing will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Teays Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whetstone, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Groveport-Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
