Reagan lost against Jackson on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Reagan Bison took a 38-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Generals.

When it comes to explaining why Reagan lost, don't look at Sophia Naranjo-Palma. Despite the final result, she posted 12 points in addition to seven steals and six boards. Naranjo-Palma is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 24 games she's played dating back to last season. Camila Reyes also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Jackson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mya Padilla led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Jackson is 2-1 when Padilla posts ten or more boards, but 4-7 otherwise. Djoolissa St Fleur was another key player, putting up four points along with eight rebounds and six steals.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Jackson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-8.
