Basketball Game Preview: Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles vs. Gananda Central Blue Panthers

Clyde-Savannah is 1-9 against Gananda Central since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Golden Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Blue Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Clyde-Savannah is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against Bloomfield on Monday, falling 62-37.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Gananda Central and East Rochester, and Gananda Central kept the tradition alive. The Blue Panthers blew past the Bombers 77-54 on Wednesday. With the Blue Panthers ahead 41-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Gananda Central's win came from a few key players Clyde-Savannah will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hunter Vogt, who posted 23 points. Cooper Grassel was another key player, putting up 19 points.
