For the second straight game, Coleman will face off against Winters. The Bluecats will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Blizzards at 4:00 p.m. Coleman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season.

Coleman gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They blew past Winters 19-10. The Bluecats haven't had any issues with the Blizzards recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Jett Black was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Those stolen bases were his first of the season. Darren Hurtado was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Coleman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2025.

Winters' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Coleman, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Coleman hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .337. However, it's not like Winters struggles in that department as they've averaged .446. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
