Soccer Recap: West Boca Raton Takes a Loss

West Boca Raton lost against King's Academy back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The West Boca Raton Bulls came up short against the King's Academy Lions, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Lions are ranked 43rd).

West Boca Raton's goal came courtesy of Victoria Griffith, which was the first she's scored this season.

West Boca Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for King's Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1-3.

West Boca Raton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 loss against American Heritage on the 10th. King's Academy has also already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Wellington on the 10th.
