The Coastal Academy Stingrays will head out on the road to take on the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Escondido Adventist Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Coastal Academy, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Coastal Academy made easy work of Guajome Park Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Stingrays in their matchups with the Frogs: they've now won five in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Coastal Academy was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11, 25-3.

Meanwhile, Escondido Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Calvin Christian.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-20.

Coastal Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-20. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Everything went Coastal Academy's way against Escondido Adventist Academy in their previous meeting back in September, as Coastal Academy made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stingrays since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
