Volleyball Recap: Parlier Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Parlier challenged Wonderful College Prep Academy on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 8th.

While Parlier was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-10, 25-18.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaron Lopez, who had 14 assists and eight digs.

Parlier has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 5-15 record this season. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Parlier will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Liberty at 5:00 p.m. Wonderful College Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
